September Music Favourites

First of all I'd like to apologise for our lack of posting, we started school mid august and that has been our main priority however I would like to say that we will be posting hopefully once a fort night. So now onto my favourite music of September.

Okay, first things first. In the last music post I talked about The 1975 and how there new album was coming out soon, well it's out and guess what? It's amazing. Favourite song is 'she way out' along with the ones mentioned in my other music favourites.

I also heard London Grammar for the first time this month. The songs 'Hey Now' and 'Wasting my Young Years' are my favourites but I also have a few others. These are definitely more chilled and relaxed songs.

Tom Odell. First time I heard/seen him was on the Brit awards at the start of this year. A few months after one of his songs was free on iTunes and that's when I started listening to him. I haven't got the full album but have got most of it, and his talent is extraordinary. You should all definitely check out the songs 'Sirens' and 'Grow Old With Me'.

And You Me At Six are back after a while. No denying but I have been stalking/keeping up with them when they were in LA and let me tell you I was so jealous of the house they were staying in, the big swimming pool and just everything. So 'Lived a Lie' came out and it's brilliant.

Arctics monkeys have also released there new album, I'm not that much of a fan however the song 'Do I Wanna Know?' is super and I love the sound of the instrumental.
And who can forget 'Best Song Ever' by One Direction. I will secretly admit that me and Rachel went to see the movie on the day it came it out and no denying it was great.

Thank you for reading hope you enjoyed this post and listen to some of the songs recommended,

Things That Make Me Happy #4

Woo, it's the best time of the week. My Things That Make Me Happy Post, I love doing these. It's sometimes hard to find good pictures but now since i've started to do these I can find cute pictures during the week. Louise really want's to do one of these posts but way before the blog was created I 'bagsyed' doing this- maybe one week she can do her own special one.

This bedroom is so pretty. I really like the colour scheme and the decorations. It's such a girly room because of the lights and flowers on the wall. I also really like the small New York poster and the drawers and cupboards. They look vintage and cute.

This is a really pretty outfit that I seen on tumblr. I really like the 3/4 length denim shirt. It also looks very girl too and I like the skirt a lot.

As most of you may know I have a bit of an obsession with pretty little liars. I love it so much and each episode is so gripping. The four main girls are so lovely and I really like each story line. I've done a pretty little liars tag on this blog so if you also love the show, you should check it out.

As for my weekly picture of a puppy. I'm such a dog person and love puppies. This one is so cute and fluffy. It has cute little eyes too. (How many times can I say cute?)

I really like these nails. I really like the girly light pink paired with the gold, it makes them stand out and look amazing. I also like how they are such a nice shape, they are not too long or too short. They are the perfect length.

I love how there has been the whole 'ZALFIE' thing this week. I love Zoe and Alfie together. Alfie is just lovely and look at his little face- aww. I love him and he seems so nice and I would love to meet him in real life. I would have such a fangirl moment.

I read this quote out to louise and she said 'that is so you!' I love shopping and clothes and when I get money it is usually spent on clothes. I swear I am not a shopaholic.... I think.

I really like the colours in this girls hair. I also really like this hairstyle its so pretty and would love to have thicker hair so i could actually pull this off. If i were to attempt this the plait (if that's how you spell it) would fall out straight away.

How nice do these pancakes look? I would literally go through these pancakes in 2 seconds because they look amazing. I love strawberries, pomegranates and pancakes but together like this would just be a dream. I love food too much...

Thanks for reading this post, maybe louise will do her own edition of this next week but I don't know because I like doing these, haha. If you do these types of posts please leave a comment below because I love to read them. Thank you again and please let me know in the comments what's something that has made you happy this week?

Back To School with Louchelle

So we thought we would start a back to school series so here are my new school shoes.

I got these from Schuh for £50 by the brand Hush Puppie. My Mum thought it would be best to buy more expensive shoes that will last rather than buying cheap pairs that only last a few months. Most of the other shoes by this brand aren't my cup of tea but i thought these looked very cute and girly.
The cut out at the side reminds me of a sunflower, i think this makes them look very pretty and different. I love how there is a strap across your ankle with a bunkle to secure so your shoes are less likely to slip off. I wore these shoes to an interview today and so far they are really comfertable.

Hope you enjoyed this and are looking forward to our next back to school post,

Marc Jacobs Dot| Review

Hi everyone today i'm here with a review about a very well know product in the blogging community. It's the Dot perfume by Marc Jacobs. I have seen quite a few bloggers talking about their first impressions by the new honey perfume but as I am nearly finished with Dot I though I would give this a good review.

First of all I love all the colours on the bottle, they stand out and are kind of retro. I only got the small size in this perfume as it was a present and I did not know if I would like it or not. The full sized bottle looks much more elaborate and detailed but this one is cute and dainty. I really like the pearl and the butterfly it makes it look girly and eye-catching. In my opinion Marc Jacobs never fail with their perfume bottles.

The smell is amazing. Its got a couple of floral notes but its very fresh and is great for anytime but I think it's a spring/summer designed scent. I would wear it anytime. I really like how the smell is not to overpowering but will last for a long time. I'm one of these people who get a sore head when a perfume is too strong but this one is fine and does not give me a headache.
Im usually into more fruity perfumes and sweet scents but I really like this smell a lot.

According to the perfume shop website, the perfume is described as being "Dot is a lush juicy floral - happy and vivacious. The top captivates with a delectable blend of red berries, succulent dragon fruit  and sweet honeysuckle. The lush floral heart of the fragrance blooms with addictive jasmine mingled with energizing notes of coconut water and orange blossom. The scent rounds out with a feminine dry down of creamy vanilla, driftwood, and sensual musks."

I think the reason I like this unique scent is because its wearable and because it's light. It's good for school and you can smell the hints of vanilla and blossom in the perfume. I love the packaging to and I think this perfume is brilliant (as you can probably tell by the amount if it i have left)

You can buy this perfume in just about any perfume store as it's pretty popular. On the website the perfume size I have is £38.50 which is a bit pricey but it's a lovely perfume and it lasts a very long time. You can also get it in bigger sizes but it's about 10 pound more.

Thank you for reading my review, please let me know in the comments what's your favourite perfume at the moment. Thanks again, bye!

Favourite Summer Lipstick

So as you already know i am a big lipstick person so i thought i would give you a quick review of my favourite lipstick that i've been enjoying over the last few months. In April we went to Glasgow for Rachels birthday, as usual Rachel persuaded me to buy something, this being the MAC lipstick in 'Costa Chic' costing £14.
As you can see the colour is a very bright coral, and i find coral suites most skin tones especially after you have acquired a tan. This is in the permanent MAC range and is a frost finish. Im not a big fan of the frost finishes but i think this one is very discrete and can be muted by blotting with a paper towel.

The lipstick comes in the usual bullet packaging and comes in the black cardboard box. Hope you enjoyed reading this quick review,
